Wacky Wednesday: Why Copying Could Be Hazardous To Your Life

Wacky Wednesday: Why Copying Could Be Hazardous To Your Life
Let’s face it—copying is the ultimate shortcut.
Why bother creating your own solution to a problem when you can just benchmark “Best in Class” and apply what someone else has done?
But here’s the kicker: copying might just be the fast track to an early grave 🪦 .
Yep, you heard me.
Being a Copycat doesn’t just limit your performance.
Being a Copycat is bad for your health.
First off, stress.
Copying is like playing a high-stakes game of “Will They—Customers, The Boss—Notice?”
Every time you essentially emulate someone else’s work, your heart ❤️ races, your palms sweat, and your brain screams, “ABORT MISSION!”
Spoiler: if copying doesn’t illicit this physiological response, you’re even sicker 🤢!
Chronic stress? Check. ✔️
Increased risk of heart disease? Double check. ✔️✔️
Congratulations, you’ve just shaved a few years off your life. 😱
Then there’s the creativity drought.
Copying is the equivalent of eating fast food every day—it’s quick, easy, and utterly soul-crushing.
Your brain gets lazy, your imagination withers, and before you know it, you’re a walking zombie 🧟 with no original thoughts.
Studies show that a lack of mental stimulation can lead to cognitive 🧠 decline.
So, keep copying, and you might forget your own name by 50! 🎂
And let’s not forget the individual career consequences.
No growth oriented organization values copying. You’ll lose support and career progress faster than you can say “plagiarism.”
So, if you’re copying to impress people, you’re doing the exact opposite.
Copying isn’t just unethical—it’s a health hazard.
So, stop “Gargling Google”, pick up a pen, and start thinking for yourself.
Your heart, brain, and social life will thank you.
And who knows?
You might just live long enough to see Wacky Wednesday become Wacky Retirement.
Stay original, folks. Your life depends on it.
